POLICE RIGHT-TO-KNOW

 

The open records officer, Township Manager Christopher Christman, has designated Chief of Police Lawrence Palmer to assure compliance and disseminate POLICE records to the public.

Upon receipt, The Palmer Township Police Department has five (5) business days to respond in writing to:

 

1. Grant the request

2. Deny the request citing basis for denial per GO 4-11, section 4.11.1, subsection J.

3. Invoke a thirty (30) day extension for certain reasons

 

How To File An Appeal

 

If the Palmer Township Police Department denies a record, or a portion of the record relating to access to criminal investigative records an appeal may be filed with the:

If the Palmer Township Police Department denies a record, or a portion of the record relating to access to non-investigative records an appeal may be filed with the:

 

Office of Open Records

All appeals must be in writing and may be submitted using the appeals form.
